Description

DESCRIPTION ZGCD 550 Used as a catalyst in hydrolysis reactions such as the hydrolysis of esters, cane sugar and polysaccharides.

APPLICATION

The ZGCD550 is suitable for water treatment (softening, desalination, wastewater treatment). It has a long service life when treating aggressive waters (condensate, chlorinated, high temperature).

It is used in cationic double-layer filters together with weakly acidic cation exchange resins, as well as in the production of pure and ultrapure water.

Due to its macroporous structure, large surface area and optimal porosity, ZGCD550 is used in the catalysis of chemical processes (esterification, cleavage of ether chains), in particular in the production of methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE).
