Hydrolite ZGC 258FD is a cation-exchange resin containing a carboxyl group (-COOH) in an acrylic acid copolymer with a macroporous structure. As a macroporous, weakly acidic cationic resin, it exhibits high exchange capacity, rapid exchange, and good mechanical strength.The ZGC 258FD is particularly suitable for removing hydrocarbonates, carbonates, and other salts from water. It is primarily used in small water treatment systems in domestic and municipal water supply systems for demineralization and softening.
