ZGC258 is a weakly acidic polyacrylic cation exchange resin with a macroporous structure. It is designed for water softening and desalination of water and aqueous organic solutions. The carboxyl functional group ensures high chemical efficiency across a wide range of applications.
ZGC258 features high exchange capacity. This cation exchange resin is primarily used for water softening and alkalinity removal. The density of the weakly acidic ZGC258 cation exchange resin is lower than that of standard strongly acidic cation exchange resins, allowing it to be used in stacked and double beds and can be regenerated counter-currently, reducing the regenerant consumption. Using ZGC258 reduces the ion load on the subsequent layer or filter with a strongly acidic cation exchange resin, allowing for a reduction in the amount of the latter.
