1. Description:Hydrolite ZG A408 is a styrene-based macroporous resin in the weak basic anion exchange series. Compared with other weak basic anion resins, it has better physical and chemical stability, higher capacity, and a lower swelling coefficient. Its excellent mechanical strength, wear resistance, osmosis, pressure, and oxidation resistance make it ideal for desalination and xylose decolorization. Under normal use, it can be used for 300-600 cycles, and its failure rate is reduced by 60-80% compared to standard weak basic anion resins.
The ionic form of ZGA408 is a free amine during operation; it reacts readily with strong acids and, during regeneration, reacts with alkali, forming salt and water, after which the resin returns to the free amine ionic form. ZGA408 has a larger pore size and specific surface area, enabling it to adsorb many organic macromolecules. Adsorption efficiency can reach 80-95%, with elution exceeding 95%. ZGA408’s properties are excellent for use in xylose purification. 2. Physicochemical properties:

Note: When you start backwashing, the flow rate should be low, after all the resins become elastic, gradually increase the backwashing speed, after the resins are fully working, stably maintain the backwashing flow rate until the backwash water is clear. |
