PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
ZGA351 is a macroporous, highly alkaline, type I anion exchange resin based on polystyrene with quaternary amine groups. It has a unique macroporous structure, providing high capacity and excellent physical and chemical stability. Due to its large-pore structure, this resin exhibits superior resistance to organic contamination compared to gel resins. Its primary applications include pure and ultrapure water treatment and condensation polishing. It can also be used in wastewater treatment, metal recovery, and other chemical processes.
The ZGA351 series includes several products:
ZGA351 – for general use;
ZGA351FC – for dual-separation and floating bed systems;
ZGA351SC – for dual-bed;
ZGA351 MB – for mixed bed;
ZGA351-Z – specially designed for high-flow condensate polishing systems.
ADVANTAGES AND FEATURES
✔ Fine particle size
95% of granules are within the specified size range, which ensures lower pressure drop and better exchange kinetics.
✔ Resistance to organic pollution
The unique macroporous structure provides a higher capacity for removing organic molecules and facilitates their rinsing, increasing resistance to organic pollution.
✔ HIGH PHYSICAL STABILITY
More than 93% of the granules retain their spherical shape, have high crushing strength and uniform size, which increases resistance to mechanical, thermal and osmotic loads.

APPLICATION
✔ Deionization and demineralization
resin ZGA351 is used in mixed and multi-bed demineralization systems to remove all types of ions and organic matter. Its unique structure ensures a long service life, resistance to mechanical, thermal, and osmotic stress, and excellent separation properties during regeneration.
✔ Resistance to organic contamination.
The macroporous structure effectively adsorbs natural organic compounds, preventing resin contamination. This increases the working capacity and quality of purified water, even with high organic impurity levels in the feed solution.
✔ Other ZGA351 applications
are also used in:
hydrometallurgy,
decolorization in the food industry,
refining of cane sugar and corn syrup,
separation and purification of biochemicals,
pharmaceutical industry.
