1. Introduction
Hydrolite SD 300 resin is an aromatic, macroporous, styrene-based adsorption resin that can selectively adsorb specific organic compounds in aqueous solutions. It is suitable for the extraction of cephalosporins and other antibiotics, the adsorption of high-molecular-weight, fat-soluble organic compounds in industrial wastewater, and the separation of certain specific substances. It is particularly effective in the production of syrup and fructose from apple, pear, grape, and pineapple juices. Hydrolite SD 300 resin helps eliminate syrup bitterness, improve color, increase clarity, reduce turbidity, and enhance syrup stability. It also helps remove patulin from syrup and reduce pesticide residues.
