1. Introduction
Hydrolite CD 450 resin is a cationic ion exchange resin containing a sulfonate group (-SO3H ) in a styrene-divinylbenzene copolymer. It is used primarily as a catalyst in chemical synthesis, particularly in polymerization, epoxy, and peroxide reactions, especially for the catalysis of unsaturated fatty acids and soybean oil.
