ZGC858 is a strongly acidic cation exchange resin with an inert core. It is designed for effective and long-term removal of iron and heavy metals and water softening. It has high exchange capacity and excellent physical and chemical stability.
The functional groups are located only on the resin surface and are very closely spaced. As a result, all ion exchange reactions occur exclusively on the resin surface, preventing ion leakage and ensuring complete resin recovery.
When removing heavy metals such as iron and zinc, ZGC858 resin demonstrates superior performance compared to conventional sulfonic cation exchange resins, including high washout efficiency, high regeneration rates, low water consumption, and excellent demineralization properties, resulting in superior performance. Furthermore, compared to conventional cation exchange resins, the expansion and exchange of heavy metal ions with this resin is slower, making ZGC858 resin ideal for removing iron, zinc, and other heavy metals from aqueous and non-aqueous solutions.
During regeneration, with shorter diffusion paths, the regeneration solution can freely and completely pass through the internal resin layers at high speed, thereby increasing the regeneration rate. Since the regeneration rate is sufficiently high during this process, a high degree of demineralization can be achieved and water leakage at the outlet can be reduced. Furthermore, the leaching process performed after regeneration facilitates the removal of precipitates, reducing water consumption.
Thanks to its unique properties, ZGC858 is the best product for softening water, removing iron and manganese.
