ZGC108 is a gel-type, strongly acidic cation exchange resin. It has high exchange capacity and excellent physical and chemical stability. It is used for water softening and desalination, condensate treatment, wastewater treatment, and metal recovery in hydrometallurgy, food, and chemical industries.

Minimum layer height: 51 cm (20 inches)
Operating flow rate: 8 – 40 l/hr per liter of resin (1-5 gpm/ft3)
Backwash Flow Rate: 7-12 m/h (2.9 – 4.9 gpm/ft2)
Backwash duration: 5 – 20 min
Volume of water for backwash: 1.5-4 volumes of resin.
Layer expansion: 50 – 75%
NaCl regeneration: 8–20% solution. Reagent consumption: 60–320 g per liter of resin.
HCl regeneration: 3-5% solution. Reagent consumption: 30–160 g per liter of resin.
H2SO4 regeneration: 1.5–5% solution. Reagent consumption: 40–250 g per liter of resin.
