1. Introduction
Hydrolite CD 650 is a cation exchange resin containing a sulfonic acid group (-SO3H ) in a styrene-diethylenebenzene copolymer with a macroporous structure. It is primarily used as a catalyst in hydrolytic reactions such as ester hydrolysis, cane sugar hydrolysis, and multicomponent sugar hydrolysis. It is also particularly effective for potassium removal in the ethylene glycol production process.
